There are no words to express the value of a mother. Here is our humble effort to express feelings about our mother on the occasion of Mother’s day.
Beginning of the Mother’s Day speech
Respected chief guest and all the dignitaries present on the dais and in the audience, Good morning, My name is XYZ and I would like to express my thoughts about Mother’s Day. The date of Mother’s Day this year is 9th May 2021 and the day is Sunday as usual
First I would like to wish you all a very happy mother’s day and I congratulate all the mothers on this special occasion. Every year we celebrate Mother’s day on the second Sunday of the month of May. This year we are celebrating it on 9th May 2021.
Do you think only one day is sufficient to express our love and gratitude for our loving and caring mothers? I think every day is Mother’s Day and we must express our love and gratitude for our mothers daily.
Mother is the symbol of selfless love, sacrifice, understanding, care, motivation, and unconditional support. She is our mother who brings us in this world, takes our care, and teaches us speaking, and how to lead a life in this world. The mother brings us up to be worthy human beings and most importantly she does this without anything in return.
People do various things on the occasion of mother’s day like giving gifts, honoring mothers, taking picnics, and many more but I think the best gift to any mother by her son or daughter is to give her your time, talk to her and take care of her in her old age just like your mother took care of you in your childhood.
I hope you will agree with me and give your time to your mothers. Mother doesn’t expect anything from their children but it is the moral duty of every son and daughter to look after their mothers.
With this hope that everybody will become a worthy son or daughter of his or her mother and take care of her.
