Respected chief guest, principal, teachers, non-teaching staff, parents and my dear friends, good morning. My name is Sam Wilson. I would like to express my thoughts about the Republic Day celebration.
Every year, our country celebrates its Republic Day on 26th January as on this day our country became Republic and our constitution came into effect on 26th January 1950.
This day is celebrated as a national festival in our country. There is a big celebration in all the parts of our country including flag hoisting, singing the national anthem and various other activities. The main program of Republic day celebration is held in our national capital and there is a big parade of all kinds of security forces and a show of our country’s Arm power. It is a very beautiful ceremony to watch firepower and cultural diversity.
Every school celebrates Republic day with great zeal and zest with all the protocols. The special programs include flag hoisting, singing the national anthem, speeches and cultural program.
Republic day is celebrated to remind us of the great work of our freedom fighters and the people who created our constitution that has given us a democratic setup of governance and freedom. Our freedom fighters sacrificed themselves for the sake of our country and made it free from foreign slavery. Now it is our responsibility to protect our freedom and constitution and take our country to the peak of success and make it number one in the world.
Let’s resolve to protect the freedom and democracy of our country and make every citizen ideal with good education and occupation. By providing them opportunities to grow. We must remove useless customs and traditions and give up superstitions. We must make our country the best place to live in the world.
