Respected principal, honorable teachers and non-teaching staff and my dear friends, good afternoon, I am Sam from 9^th std. I would like to express my thoughts on the occasion of the farewell ceremony of our school’s class 10 students.

To bid goodbye is always painful but when it is for the betterment for those whom we are bidding goodbye in this farewell is full of hopes and best wishes.

Today we have gathered here for this farewell ceremony and everybody is emotional. Our 10^th class will take their important exam for future career and leave this school. We wish them all the best for their 10^th class board exam and for their future career but we are sad because they will not be in this school.

Change is the law of nature and we are no exception to it. The only thing in our hands is to accept it gracefully and move ahead. We have very fond memories of our 10^th class students and we will keep them forever.

Our principal and teachers have always encouraged the co-operation among different classes. We are thankful for it. As a student of 9^th std, I can’t talk too much but the best wishes of all of us are always for the students and we are sure that you will achieve grand success not only in your 10^th std exam but also in your lives.

We wish you all the best and promise that we will never forget you.
